What does Lutis Automotive do?
Lutis Automotive is an industrial and automotive consultancy based in Muscat, Oman. We advise investors, manufacturers and distributors through every stage of an automotive project: feasibility, facility design, regulatory compliance, commercial rollout and go-to-market.

Where are you based, and where do you work?
Our principal office is in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman (CR 1446523, PO Box 2358, PC 112). Our focus is the MENA region, particularly Oman, the wider GCC and North Africa. We also work with clients in the United Kingdom and India, and our associates in Oman, India, the UK and the US support cross-border projects.
How long does an OEM dealership setup take?
It depends on the brand, the market and the site. From brand agreement to opening day, a full dealership typically takes 18 to 36 months. We break every engagement into clear milestones so you can see progress against time and budget throughout.
Do you work with electric vehicle brands?
Yes. We advise EV brands entering MENA markets on homologation, charging infrastructure planning, customer education and after-sales network design.
Do you advise on projects outside vehicle retail?
Yes. Our cross-sector work covers projects where automotive meets adjacent industries, including lubricant manufacturing, tyre distribution, component supply chains and logistics infrastructure. The approach is the same: rigorous planning and a focus on execution.
How do you approach a feasibility study?
A feasibility study should tell you whether to proceed, not just how. Ours cover market sizing, competition, regulation, financial modelling and site assessment, set out plainly. If the fundamentals do not support the project, we will say so before any money is committed to execution.
Do you stay involved after a project is delivered?
Often, yes. Many clients keep us on a retained basis for periodic operational reviews and support when they expand. We remain available throughout the life of the projects we help build.
What languages do you work in?
English and Arabic. We prepare documentation and presentations in both, and we understand the cultural and commercial nuances of doing business across the region.

Lutis Automotive is a division of Aravind Automobiles LLC, Oman, an associate company of Aravind Automobiles Limited, UK. Aravind was founded in 1956 in Trivandrum, India, and built the First Indian Car. That heritage of engineering originality shapes how we work today.

What does the name "Lutis" mean?
Lutis (لوتس) means "lotus" in Arabic and is pronounced in two syllables: LOO-tis (/ˈluːtɪs/). The lotus stands for purity, precision and resilience, qualities we aim to bring to every engagement.
