The Lutis Cobra will be assembled in Oman on the Factory Five Mk5 Roadster platform — one of the most respected Cobra-derived chassis in production. Each car is built by hand. Exterior colour and interior trim are selected at the point of order.

The Mk5 platform brings a modern spaceframe, a 7.3-litre Ford V8, and your choice of manual or automatic drivetrain. Every Lutis Cobra is backed by a 5-year/100,000km, fully transferable, PSW Package – parts, service and warranty.

FFR SPACEFRAME

The chassis that everything else answers to.

The Lutis Cobra is built on the Factory Five Mk5 spaceframe — a ground-up redesign delivering four times the torsional rigidity of its predecessor and over seventeen times that of the original 1960s Shelby 427. It is a modern steel spaceframe with integral backbone, aluminium panelling riveted and bonded throughout.

Suspension is independent double-wishbone front; solid axle or independent rear suspension to build specification. Forged aluminium control arms and KONI coilover dampers fitted as standard. Vented discs front and rear. Rack and pinion steering, power-assisted on request.

At 1,021 kg with a 46.9/53.1 front-to-rear weight distribution, the structure is the performance. Everything else follows from it.

GODZILLA INCOMING

The pure definition of muscle.

The Lutis Cobra Mk5 is powered by the Ford Performance Godzilla — a 7.3-litre pushrod V8 producing 430 bhp and 475 lb-ft of torque at Ford-published specification. It is an engine built for sustained output under load: low-revving, mechanically straightforward, and proven across demanding operating environments. Peak torque arrives early and stays there. On Oman's roads and in its climate, that matters more than a peak figure achieved at 7,000 rpm.

Two drivetrain configurations are offered. The manual build pairs the Godzilla with a Tremec TKX five-speed, managed by a Holley Terminator X Max ECU. The automatic pairs the same engine with a Ford 6R80 six-speed, equally EFI-managed. Both are assembled and commissioned in Muscat.

Output figures are Ford Performance-rated on 93 AKI / 98 RON. A modest reduction applies under sustained load on 91 RON in extreme ambient temperatures.
